This is post shows a home that has 2 RO systems. I am showing the performance of the system that is working properly. Using the TDS (total dissolved solids) meter and the difference between the raw water and the product water. We are near distilled water characteristics but not truly. This water can be used in home humidifiers, irons, steam appliances and similar. Opposed to having to buy distilled water in-store, and bring home then unload it. But you will still need to follow cleaning practices/procedures for said appliances as they will still (very slowly) accrue mineral buildup over time.
