Hong Kong '97 (1995) is infamous as one of the worst video games ever created - a bizarre unlicensed Super Famicom shooter developed in just two days with the goal of being as offensive as possible.

But does this game deserve its reputation of being one of the worst video games ever? I am here to make the modest proposal that it in fact does not.

Hong Kong '97 follows the character Chin (Bruce Lee's relative) as he fights against Chinese communists following the 1997 handover of Hong Kong. Hong Kong 97 represents a fascinating chapter in gaming history.
