Ola amigos! I'm here in sunny Torrevieja, Spain, and I wanted to share some of the real deal about living and traveling here. I've fallen in love with the laid-back vibe and sunshine, a far cry from the London hustle. But, it's not all perfect. I've learned the hard way about jaywalking fines, the chaotic parking situation, and the ins and outs of the Avanza bus card. I'll tell you about the scooter craze, the surprisingly clean beaches, and the… less-than-ideal dog poop situation. I'll also touch on the little things, like Sunday store closures and the importance of watching out for uneven pavements. Basically, I'm giving you the honest truth about my experiences, hoping to help you navigate this beautiful but sometimes quirky corner of Spain like a local.
