Today the Baltimore County Public Library’s Perry Hall Branch debuted its new “Sensory Exploration Zone.” The space was designed to provide elementary-age children of all abilities a safe, calming, and judgement-free area where they – along with their caregivers – can feel welcome. It includes active sitting stools, illuminated bubble tubes, an interactive foot board and more.
