Aesop’s Fables: Sometimes a True Story Can Have Gaps

You can give someone all the advice in the world, but if they’re not interested in hearing it, nothing will be learned.

I protect my friends.

If they have an interesting story, I only tell the tale while protecting their identity.

And yet, given the comments on the original video, so many people seem to have been willing to throw their friend under the bus for the sake of gossip.

What you take away from any story depends on what you’re able to absorb in general.

If you’re a sponge, awesome.

You’ll take in a lot.

If you’re a stone, welp, that’s on you.

In the original video, I told of a one hit wonder who basically ended their own career, yet proceeded to blame everyone but the person in the mirror, even twenty years later.

We are all the heroes of our own story, and we love to play the victim.

These two contradictions make a horrible combination.

The comments section allows people who feel powerless to lash out at the world around them.

Always remember that when someone bashes you online.
