Shakedown (1950)

Directed by Joseph Pevney, starring Howard Duff as Jack Early, an ambitious and unscrupulous press photographer. Determined to climb to the top, he manipulates crime scenes, exploits criminals, and stops at nothing to get the most shocking pictures. As he plays both sides of the law for his own gain, his greed and recklessness lead him into dangerous territory.
