2024 London to Brighton Veteran's Car Run (*Unofficial*) FULL Video

This video gives cyclists a flavour of what it's like to do the 58.5 mile London to Brighton ride ON A PENNY-FARTHING. Which involves some really stinky hills navigating busy, congested roads urban roads and even cycling down a 3-lane motorway when entering Brighton. Since only pre-1905 bicycles can be entered and my Penny-Farthing is a Richard's of England "Singer Challenge" *replica*, I was unable to officially register. So I waited outside the start at Hyde Park and jumped-in when the VCR started ;-). I've edited the video to give a view towards the different cycling conditions you can expect. Although not a race, the Penny-Farthing riders like to cycle hard and Christian Richards came in first and I (Terrence Houlahan) finished about a minute behind him in 05 hours 49 minutes. Big Thanks to the VCR staff for organizing just a spectacular event and Christr Church, Purley for the tea & bacon sandwichs!
