Thurman Wrecks Jarvis in Three, Shuts Down the Hype Train with a Third-Round KO

After suffering multiple injuries, and experiencing a three year layoff, former unified welterweight world champion Keith “One Time” Thurman traveled cross country to Sydney, Australia for his comeback fight, as he knocked out Brock Jarvis (22-2, 20 KOs) in the third round. The bout took place at the Hordern Pavilion and aired at approximately 6 a.m. ET. Thurman showed that at the age of 36, he still has the IQ, the footwork, speed, and the punching power. Thurman traveled over 9,000 miles with the intent to make a statement, and then move on to Australia’s biggest boxing star.
