Tommy meets Juan Cortez aboard his yacht, where Cortez gets straight to business. He’s overseeing a deal for Ricardo Diaz and wants Tommy to provide protection. He directs Tommy to a multistory car park to pick up a weapon before heading to the meeting spot. At the car park, Tommy retrieves a Ruger rifle and unexpectedly runs into Lance, who has been following him around. Lance offers to help, and Tommy reluctantly agrees. The two head to the deal location, where Diaz arrives with his men to meet the Cubans. Tommy and Lance take up vantage points just before waves of Haitians attack, attempting to steal the money. The two gunmen fight off the ambush, but one Haitian grabs the briefcase and speeds off on a bike. Diaz is furious, barking at Tommy to chase down the thief. Tommy pursues him, retrieves the briefcase, and returns it to Diaz. Satisfied with Tommy’s work, Diaz acknowledges him before driving off. However, as Tommy looks around, he realizes Lance has disappeared.
