Sen Chuck Schumer and his Senate Democrats are declaring that they will shut down the federal government and they do so to protest the elimination of waste, fraud, and abuse. They do so because they want higher inflation and more massive debt. They are prepared to stop funding Medicaid, food stamps, children's lunch programs, etc., at the direction of their radical leftwing base! They don’t want to cut anything - they want to add - more billions out the door to their radical left-wing groups.
