Over the past five days, 24 settlements and 259 square kilometers of territory in the Kursk region have been liberated, he added. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 67 thousand people in this region.

The Chief of the General Staff also separately noted the operation to pass through a gas pipeline to the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Sudzha. According to him, more than 600 servicemen participated in it, with the Veterans, Akhmat, 11th Brigade and 30th Regiment particularly distinguished.
