Good First Reaction to LILO & STITCH Trailer | DISNEY Learning from Past Flops

Disney released the first trailer for their upcoming live-action remake, Lilo & Stitch and so far the reaction is fairly positive.

In recent years it has seemed like Disney suffered overwhelmingly negative reactions to most live-action remakes they produced, but the Lilo & Stitch reaction shows it’s not about Disney, it’s about the quality of the movie. Fans of the original are excited that this appears to be a faithful adaptation while also making the live action aspect seem more justifiable when compared to other remakes. If this movie does well by appeasing the fans of the original it would send a strong message to Disney on how they should make movies moving forward.
