Normal BANS E-SCOOTERS: Why does Chris Koos have BEEF with E-scooters?

Despite Modern Mobility’s 3+ years of efforts down at the statehouse to add e-scooters to the Illinois Vehicle Code, it is imminent that Normal will not opt in and will ban e-scooters after all

The current assistant town manager Brian Day referred to local entrepreneurs as "these F**king people"

Day gets paid nearly $230k a year in taxpayer funds and apparently spends his time working with his previous employer, Illinois Municipal League, to lobby against e-scooter initiatives, according to FOIA'd emails.

E-scooters are environment-friendly transportation yet government officials are bending over backwards to OUTLAW them? Why? Chicago, Carbondale and other municipalities have them?
