Three-year-old boy has 'adult-sized head' after surgery

This brave toddler has a head larger than most adults after undergoing life-saving surgery to expand his skull. Davey Reid, aged three, has undergone 22 different operations to try and treat a build-up of fluid on his brain. His skull has now been stretched to the size of an adult's, making his head so big it cannot fit into a standard 22 inch cap. Mother Jacey, 29, fears he will be bullied when he starts school. “I don’t want him to be picked on or for him to struggle," she said. “He is different. He has a lot of scars, one from ear to ear from his brain surgery.
