He still puts the squeeze on his squeezebox
Back when Chuck Wolffer first picked up an accordion, all the kids were taking lessons. He says "it was forced on me." with chuckle. He says when Rock N' Roll came a long he put his accordion away in the closet. When Chuck turned 50 he bought a new accordion and "started playing out a little bit." A retired social studies teacher, Chuck says getting back into the according was easy "it's like a bicycle" he says, "at certain point you cn do most anything with it." These days he plays out when he can and will dress in different outfits depending on his venue. Chuck is 81 now and ay that he donates the money he makes to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation because his granddaughter has cystic fibrosis. Chuck Wolffer is also an honored member of Buffalo Clown Alley.
