The Dalai Lama makes it as simple as it gets.

A loving heart.

A calm, peaceful mind.

This is the religion.

We can call it Buddhism, or we can abandon names and titles and labels entirely.

Keeping it simple, finding contentment, living a life that is simple and is about kindness and not harming others.

That's pretty much it.

Kind of sums it up.

This is very important.

As the world gets more and more complicated and we have different philosophies and beliefs, we can sometimes just boil things down to what is it to be a good human being, living a life that doesn't harm others and uplifts oneself and spreads goodness around the world.

This is the true religion of Buddhism and the true religion of, you could say, all religions.

It's the essence of being a good human being.
