Mexico SUES Smith & Wesson - Supreme Court Oral Arguments Summary

The government of Mexico is suing Smith & Wesson for aiding and abetting drug cartels - even though they do not claim they are selling directly to cartels. S&W sells to dealers who sell to gun stores who sell to individuals, so even though there is no direct tie, Mexico - on behalf of gun control advocates - is pushing this lawsuit.

This is just a frivolous attempt to get past the liability protections for the gun industry that exist to prevent this very sort of lawsuit meant to bankrupt the gun industry.

The Second Amendment needs to be protected in this way or they will be able to put out any business dealing in firearms and then the Amendment would be worthless without readily available firearms. It is just a gun control push by a new avenue.
