Galatians 1:6-10

This will be a difficult study for some. For those who believe in the biblical teaching that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone, you will be encouraged and comforted. For those who teach and preach a Jesus that is not biblical and a gospel that will not save, this will be a sobering message and hopefully, an awakening to truth. Any Jesus that is proclaimed other than the biblical Jesus, the Son of God, God incarnate, Emmanuel, God with us, who according to scripture was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, in obedience to God the Father's predetermined plan, went to the cross, died for our sins and was raised for our justification, is no Jesus that can save. Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and Muslims, all proclaim a different Jesus than is declared in the Bible. As such, these are false religions proclaiming a false gospel...for a gospel that cannot save is not good news at all. In addition, to add to the completed work of Christ on the cross, Who Himself proclaimed, "It is finished!" by requiring anything more to be saved, is in itself a false gospel. According to the apostle Paul, "let them be accursed." Unfortunately, Roman Catholicism, although teaching the true Jesus of the Bible, adds a plethora of additional requirements to be saved. We will briefly look at several of these "doctrines of men" that have been added through Papal authority and "infallibility" of the Catholic church. I say this in all love and hope that many will awaken to these false teachings and turn to the One True Jesus Christ and His salvation; trusting in the teachings of Roman Catholicism regarding salvation and many other doctrines will not lead to salvation, but to eternal separation from God who sent His Son into this world to pay the price for our sin. We can add nothing to this free gift of grace to redeem ourselves. Come to Christ by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone!
