Learning the Tail Snare- Six Quick Lobsters
7 months ago
65
I usually use a net and tickle stick to catch lobsters. I bought a cheap tail snare a while back but was unimpressed. A friend gave me a much better one though and I'm liking it.
The tickle stick is more versatile and more of a precision instrument than the snare, and is better at getting lobsters to leave their hole in some situations. But the snare is a one piece took kit that can absolutely do the job. For situations where lobster hunting may not be the main objective of your dive, but you want to be ready, the snare is just the thing.
