Solar eclipse predictions on Flat Earth from the 1800s

Tables and maps of 8000 eclipses accurately predicted in the book, published in 1887.

All trajectories of solar eclipses are indicated as projections on, even if not complete, but an azimuthal map (flat earth). But far beyond the equator line. To the extreme trajectory of the sun's movement - the Tropic of Capricorn.
How was this known in 1887? Or is it really not the moon that eclipses the sun? Or are these really planned events? Then the question is - by whom?
