A Government Shutdown Would Only Serve to Help Democrats

Folks, Congress and the Trump administration are serious about cutting spending and passing President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” but it’s taking time to pull everything together. No one likes continuing resolutions, but the continuing resolution is a necessary stopgap while Republicans continue to move forward with the budget blueprint that passed the House in late February.
