The video, which was shared by the Ecuadorian fighter on Instagram, shows him looking under the hood of his red pickup truck when a hooded man approaches. After the would-be attacker pulls out a long blade, Vera walks towards the driver seat of his car and draws a pump-action shotgun from inside the open window. The UFC star cocks the gun and points it at the man, who tosses the knife and runs away.
