Dark Souls Remastered | Using Black Eye Orb to invade Lautrec and reclaim the Fire Keeper Soul

Doing this allows the option of rekindling the Firelink Shrine bonfire, but it isn't necessary. Even when attaining the Fire Keeper Soul, you can choose to just keep it. If your Estus Flask isn't fully upgraded, it's better spent on that. Even then, consuming it might be a better option (you get +5 soft Humanity and your health restored).
