### **📝 Ingredients:**
#### **For Marination:**
- ½ kg Chicken (with bone)
- ½ cup Yogurt
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
#### **For Curry:**
- 3 tbsp Oil or Ghee
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- 2 Cloves
- 2 Green Cardamoms
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 Medium Onions (sliced & fried until golden brown)
- 2 Tomatoes (pureed)
- 2 Green Chilies (slit)
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- ½ cup Water (adjust as needed)
- 1 tsp Kasuri Methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
- 1 tbsp Fresh Cream (optional)
- Fresh Coriander Leaves (for garnish)

### **🔥 Instructions:**
#### **Step 1: Marinate the Chicken**
1. In a bowl, mix the chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice.
2. Let it marinate for at least **30 minutes** (for best results, marinate for 2 hours).
#### **Step 2: Cooking the Hyderabadi Chicken Masala**
1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan on medium heat. Add bay leaf, cumin seeds, cloves, cardamoms, and cinnamon. Let them sizzle.
2. Add fried onions and sauté for a minute.
3. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
4. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for a minute.
5. Add the marinated chicken and mix well. Cover and cook on low-medium heat for **10-15 minutes**, stirring occasionally.
6. Add water and let it simmer until the chicken is fully cooked.
7. Add kasuri methi and fresh cream (optional). Mix well and cook for 2 more minutes.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
