The Alchemist’s Fire

In the dead of night, the embers glow,
Secrets written long ago.
Turning lead to burnished light,
Through the dark, I seek the white.

Mercury and crimson wine,
Stars above, a sacred sign.
Break me down, refine my core,
Shape my soul forevermore.

Oh, philosopher’s stone,
Turn this dust to flesh and bone.
Through the fire, through the air,
Let the gold be shining there.

I mix the ash, I stir the flame,
The silent echoes call my name.
A drop of blood, a twist of fate,
Alchemy will seal my state.

Mercury and crimson wine,
Stars above, a sacred sign.
Break me down, refine my core,
Shape my soul forevermore.

Oh, philosopher’s stone,
Turn this dust to flesh and bone.
Through the fire, through the air,
Let the gold be shining there.

Let the past dissolve away,
Rise anew in light of day.
One last whisper, one last spark,
Now I step into the dark.

Through the embers, I remain,
Once was lost, now unchained.
In alchemy, my truth is known,
I have found the golden throne.
