Woman, dog shot and killed at Ontario home targeted 5 times before

York Regional Police are investigating after a woman and her dog were shot and killed inside a Markham, Ont., home early Friday.

Const. Kevin Nebrija confirmed that the home has been targeted five times in the past, dating as far back as 2018, with three of those incidents occurring in 2024.
