Many Canadians planning to avoid US products despite higher grocery bills, tariff pause

Even though some of U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs are on hold again, many Montrealers are still planning to avoid American products at the supermarket — even if it means their grocery bill will be higher.

And food suppliers are forging ahead with plans to remove as many American products as possible from their shelves.
