Never Amount to Anything

It seems that many parents think they have to berate their children in order to get them to perform better. It seems that they are coming from a point of inferiority themselves. They think they couldn't possibly have a child that isn't inferior because they think they are whether they realize it or not. When a child gets told they won't ever amount to anything if they don't change they go into trying to please their parents mode because they so want the love of their parents. They try to change who they are and begin to look at their true selves as inferior. They get confused and really don't know what to do. Then they go to school as their false self and often get bullied. They have nowhere to turn. It brings much pain and anguish and often a lifetime of anxiety. The parents think they are doing their child good by berating them. They think they are toughening them up for the "real" world. They don't grasp that a child best adapts to the world by being themselves. They way parents treat their children has one of the greatest effects on society of any human interaction. The goal of parents should be to bring out who the child is and encourage them to blossom into who they are. Parents who verbally abuse their children were nearly always verbally abused themselves.
Government schools just pour gasoline on the fire. Since God and the Bible were unconstitutionally thrown out of schools, a vacuum was created for all sorts of depravity. Young people don't have anything to grasp onto. Thus many drift in an atmosphere of desolation and even fear. And then they go home and get heavily criticized. This all has to change. Government schools have got to go and be replaced with homeschooling and other forms of individual learning and parents have to learn what a miracle their children are. Every one of them is a masterpiece of God. Every child is smart at something. Let them explore and find out just what that is. Encourage them to go outside and play. Play is where there is much self discovery.
