"He who has no attachment whatsoever for mind and body, who does not grieve for what they have not, and do not yearn for what they do not have - such a one I call a true seeker."
-The Buddha, in the Dhammapada.

Lama Dawa's Commentary:
The Buddha says a true seeker is one who has no attachment, for their mind or their body, their thoughts and their possessions, who does not regret what they don't have or yearn for it.

They are free from these kinds of attachments and concerns and desires.

A person who is free from desires, free from attachments, free from regrets, such a person is what the Buddha says is a true seeker, a true spiritual person.
