Amos Media Group had the rare opportunity to interview Mr. Stan Ellis, a candidate for California’s 32nd Assembly District, recently vacated by Congressman Vince Fong. Ellis is a farmer, businessman, and longtime community member with deep roots in the Central Valley.

Raised on a hog farm in South Dakota, Ellis worked his way through college at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, earning a degree in mathematics. After graduation, he settled in Kern County, launching a diverse entrepreneurial career spanning oil, agriculture, chemical processing, and reclamation.

Ellis began his career in the Kern County oil industry in 1975 as a “mud engineer” before founding his first company, West Coast Mud, in 1981. Building on that success, he later established Global Environmental to reduce waste from oil refineries.

Beyond his work in traditional industries, Ellis has made significant contributions to quantum physics. He founded a quantum research lab specializing in entangled photon sources and state measurement systems. His company, Qubitekk, plays a critical role in national cybersecurity, working with the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense to protect U.S. infrastructure from cyber threats.
