THOU SHAL SURELY MUTH

Here was Eve listening to the voice of the tempter. His words were contradicting the words of God that death was the penalty of transgression. Satan says, “Ye shall not die [muth].” God says, “If ye eat of it ye shall die [muth].” Whom shall we believe? {1SAT 227.2}
