Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: "Good morning, everyone. I need your help with something. Last night, President Trump delivered the best speech that America needed to hear. I want to talk to you about a bill for which I need your help to get it passed, the Protect Children's Innocence Act.

In the president's speech last night, he said that he wants a bill that criminalizes gender transition in children. This is the most repugnant act taking place in the medical industry. Surgeries that cut off parts of children's bodies and all kinds of therapies that confuse children into believing that they can change what God gave them and the way they were born, their gender, into something that was never meant to be. Think about it. Children cannot get a tattoo. Children cannot vote. Children cannot make adult decisions until they turn 18, and sometimes 21.

Why in the world would we allow a medical industry in the United States to become rich with billions of dollars by cutting off children's body parts? This is morally wrong, and President Trump wants to sign a bill that criminalizes it, and that is exactly what my bill, the Protect Children's Innocence Act, does.

But here is the problem. Congress moves too slowly. I need your help urging Congress, urging our leadership to push my bill, the Protect Children's Innocence Act, to the House floor where we can pass it and bring it to President Trump's desk for him to sign it into law. Thank you very much."
