Sony Walkman WM-F41: Belt Replacement – Mediocre Success Story

This video covers the process of replacing the belt on a Sony Walkman WM-F41. After finding the device at Goodwill for $3.95, the original belt had fallen apart, leaving it non-functional. The old sticky belt was cleaned up, and new belts were installed. Although no sound played initially, it was possible to hear it working by plugging in headphones and turning up the volume. Later off-camera, a full song was listened to. The belts are not the exact size so there is some delay at the beginning, but once it catches, it sounds great.
