The shocking moment a man was shot with a baton gun by police while waving a ‘samurai sword’ in broad daylight has been caught on CCTV. Armed police were called to confront a 50-year-old man who was seen waving a ‘samurai sword’ in the middle of the street on Saturday afternoon in Basildon, Essex. John Taylor Was shot with a baton gun, which fires circular plastic rounds by armed officers after a short stand off. A police cordon was put in place around the local pharmacy while police officers carried out an investigation.
