B-17 Flying Fortress Startup & Taxi

My Texas aviator brothers and sisters will remember the day Redbird Flight Simulators came to San Marcos Texas and decided to conduct an experiment. Would pilots fly more often if Avgas was a dollar a gallon. Initially they planned to run this test for an entire month but after two weeks they shut it down. No doubt because it was a huge success, even bringing out the gas guzzling warbirds like this Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. I even brought the one I had at the time, a Stearman, which you get a glimpse at when the B-17 passes behind it while taxiing to the active. Those were great days.
