Water goal? Hydration is about more than you think.

💦Hydration is about more than just water. And if you have a goal to drink more water, don’t forget your electrolytes.

🪫If you think about it, our body is filled with millions of little tiny batteries—our cells. And without the proper balance of potassium & sodium, as well as access to trace minerals, our cells don’t function optimally.

This can result in fatigue, lethargy, and bad moods. It can also contribute to poor hormonal balance.

If you are drinking more water for better health, but not attending to your electrolytes & trace minerals, you are missing a big piece that could help with these concerns and more.

Consistent electrolyte intake has helped so many clients I have worked with have better focus and mental energy, better physical energy for workouts & work, and better moods (battling with irritability anyone?)

This is especially important for women who shed the lining of their uterus every month, losing important “qi” through this process. It’s important to replace that intentionally, especially as our foods are not as nutritionally dense as they used to be, and especially with our chronic stress levels.

Men can benefit from electrolytes as well as trace minerals—and I have seen a huge difference in my husband’s moods and ability to work with his full strength for long days.

Trace minerals can be easily sourced from most health food stores—these are important to use if you are drinking filtered water. Keep your drinking water in glass as much as possible. And listen to your individual body’s needs when it comes to how much to drink.
