FORGOTTEN SCI FI TV PRESENTS: "The Martian Chronicles" (1980)

The Martian Chronicles is a 1980 television miniseries based on Ray Bradbury's 1950 book "The Martian Chronicles." Each of the three episodes ran 98 minutes. The series depicts the initial expeditions encountering mysterious, telepathic Martians and the subsequent establishment of human settlements plagued by Earthly vices. As nuclear war devastates Earth, Mars becomes humanity's remaining hope for survival. The series boasted a star-studded cast, including Rock Hudson, Darren McGavin, Bernadette Peters, Roddy McDowall, and Barry Morse (Space: 1999).
