16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace,

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA, MY PRECIOUS FRIENDS!!!

How have you misread Jesus?

When I first saw this question I thought it was really weird, but then as I took time to think about it there are ways in which I have misread Jesus, and it's because of ignorance and deception. In particular growing up in the Independent Fundamental Baptist Church there were areas where I was taught to miss read Jesus, because people were telling me things to do and say that they claimed were coming from God's word which in reality wasn't even in there. It wasn't until I got to college and started really learning what God's word was about, and what it meant to really follow Jesus, that I was set free from that.

That's why tonight, my friends, I feel really burdened of the Lord to share some things that he showed me out of this passage of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will help you to see that no matter what your past is, no matter how you've misunderstood Jesus, He stands not only ready to forgive and welcome you into his Kingdom, but to help write new beginnings for you. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and know more about the one who never misreads us, but loves us everlastingly and unconditionally! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will inspire you to want to understand Jesus better.

What will help you understand Him even better today?

I pray that first and foremost in this area, that you take time out to read God's word for yourself every day, meditate on it, allow God to speak to you through His Word, and don't let anyone, and I mean anyone seduce you into believing something that's not out of God's word. Be willing to examine the scriptures carefully for yourself, to see whether or not what someone is saying truly comes from God's word or not. But I also want to encourage people out there, who may have misread Jesus throughout their lives, to know that no matter how you have done that, or what your past might have in it, God still loves you. That Jesus stands ready to welcome you when you turn to Him in repentance, and He will set you free from your sins. Jesus, the author of life, stands ready to write new beginnings for you. You just need to be willing to accept that new beginning!
