Suno - Hey, Hey, Damage Control

Another early Suno piece of mine (complete with unnecessary and unauthorized repetitions), I got the AI to generate this song as a tribute to the late Dwayne McDuffie's oft-forgotten Marvel comic book series Damage Control, which followed the adventures of a company tasked with cleaning up the messes superheroes and supervillains and their foes typically left in the wake of their property-wrecking slugging matches. In addition to explaining why the damage these super-powered individuals did to their urban surroundings (especially New York City, which is home to most of Marvel's characters) never seemed to linger very long from issue to issue (turns out some of the advanced technology the bad guys dropped during those slugging matches could be VERY useful for rebuilding stuff), a lot of the stories in that series were just downright hilarious. Also, from all the bureaucratic wrangling and paperwork and negotiations with insurance companies and the like the series revealed to be going on behind the scenes, it was clear a lot of McDuffie's writing was based (however loosely and humorously) on personal experience.

Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
They fight with fists and fire;
We clean the aftermath.
The situation's dire:
Skyscrapers trashed in wrath!

[Verse 2]
Super strength collides;
Buildings take the fall.
We stem the debris tides;
We answer every call.

[Chorus]
Hey, hey, Damage Control!
We clean up every scene.
Heroes get the spotlight;
We keep the world pristine.

[Verse 3]
Shattered glass and rubble;
Spaceships in your yard;
While they deal with trouble,
We're working extra hard.

[Bridge]
Swing the boom, and lift the stones,
Fix the lights, repave the road,
Glue the city's broken bones;
Heroics in every load!

[Chorus]
Hey, hey, Damage Control!
We clean up every scene.
Heroes get the spotlight;
We keep the world pristine.

[Repeat Verse 3 & Bridge]

[Chorus]
Hey, hey, Damage Control!
We clean up every scene.
Heroes get the spotlight;
We keep the world pristine.
