President Donald Trump ruled out a last-minute reprieve for Canada and Mexico, confirming tariffs will take effect at midnight. “No room left for Mexico or Canada,” he said. The 25 percent import duties start Tuesday, along with a 20 percent hike on Chinese goods. He cited fentanyl smuggling as a reason for the move.
