Biography
Dr. George A. Miller’s journey is one of faith, perseverance, and service. A native of Louisville, Mississippi, he first made his mark as a standout athlete, earning a football scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB). After graduating in 1973 with a degree in Recreation, he pursued his passion for athletics at the professional level, signing a contract with the Atlanta Falcons.

Following his football career, Dr. Miller transitioned into public relations, working with American Natural Systems in Detroit, Michigan. However, his true calling lay in ministry. In 1986, he accepted his call to the Gospel and was ordained as an Elder in the Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A. in 1988.

Dr. Miller’s commitment to faith and education led him to further his studies, earning a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University in 1994. His theological journey continued with a Doctorate in Theology from Carolina University of Theology in 2004.
Today, Dr. Miller serves as the Project Director of the Building Strong Families Program for the Starkville School District in Mississippi. He is also the Senior Pastor and founder of Faith Tabernacle Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A. in his hometown of Louisville. His ministry and leadership have been instrumental in strengthening families, communities, and faith-based initiatives.

Dr. Miller’s wife Equilla Turner Miller was an accomplished educator with a Master’s degree and over 20 years of experience in Mississippi’s public school system. Together, they have three children and remain dedicated to their faith, education, and community.
