🎬 The Hollywood sign was supposed to be TEMPORARY?! Built in 1923 as an ad for a real estate development called ‘Hollywoodland’, the sign was only meant to last 18 months. But instead, it became one of Hollywood’s most iconic symbols.

🎶 And did you know the Hollywood Bowl originally didn’t have its famous dome? When it first opened in 1922, the venue looked completely different! The shell wasn’t added until 1926, and it’s been redesigned several times since then.
