Child abuse = the physical, emotional, or sexual mistreatment of children.
• Traumatic event = a shocking, scary or dangerous experience that can affect someone emotionally & physically (natural disasters, car crashes, violence, accidents) A trauma event can impact long-term physical/mental health.
• Trigger = a sensory reminder that causes painful memories or certain symptoms to resurface.
• Delayed recall = the ability to recollect information acquired earlier (APA Definition) refers to recollections of childhood abuse after a long period of not having such memories.
• Recovered Memory = a memory of a traumatic event (sexual abuse) that is experienced typically during childhood & is forgotten & then recalled many years later.
• Survivor = a survivor of child abuse, human trafficking, MKU mind control, SRA
Human Trafficking HT = Traffickers use force, fraud, & coercion to obtain labor or commercial sex acts.

• Sex trafficking = the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, obtaining, patronizing, or soliciting of a person for the purposes of a commercial sex act induced by force, fraud, or coercion or the person induced has not attained 18 years of age.
• Familial sex trafficking = a form of sex trafficking where the child victim is controlled by relatives who allow them to be sexually exploited in exchange for something of value.
• Ritualistic abuse = physical/sexual child abuse & torture involving either multiple child victims or adult perpetrators – often includes desecration of a sacred symbol & can include ritualistic murders (SRA = satanic ritual abuse)

General signs of child abuse:
• Withdrawal from friends or usual activities
• Changes in school performance
• Sudden loss of confidence
• Depression
• Frequent absences from school
• Self-harm or attempts at suicide
• Reluctance to leave school activities to go home
