SONIC Filmmakers Suggest SHREK Team Listen to Fans Over Design

The Sonic account on Tik Tok recently posted a brief video suggesting the filmmakers behind the upcoming Skrek movie listen to fan backlash.

The new Shrek film has drawn criticism over the designs for the character for being noticeably different from the previous installments of the franchise. Sonic similarly had the same feedback when the first trailer was released for that movie back in 2019. The filmmakers behind Sonic decided to listen to the feedback and redesign the character to better reflect the Sonic fans know and love. It’s unclear whether or not those working on Shrek will follow suit, but if they did it would create a lot of good will with audiences.
