The Hebrew word that has been translated to Messiah in some Bible translations for this prophecy is "מָשִׁיחַ", which means "anointed", and has been used various times in the Old Testament to refer to Kings of Israel or the High Priest of Israel and once specifically for King Cyrus but in a different form. Never was it specifically used to refer to "The Messiah" until Christianity came along. It's literally means chosen, appointed, elected or picked and not specifically by God. The act of pouring oil is just a ritualistic ceremony for being chosen, i.e ordained to take on a role.

Further thoughts about Daniel 11:38, the God of Fortresses can be refering to the power of defence, i.e air defence, that he will burden as in rely on and invest with gold and silver in costly delightful stones, that are the projectiles of the air defence. The Hebrew word used here for stone is "וּבְאֶ֥בֶן", and is used no where else in the Hebrew text with the closest rendition "וּבָאֶ֔בֶן" used for stone in 1 Samuel 17:50, the stone as in projectile used by David with the sling to kill Goliath.

The end of Daniel 11 appears to be connected Ezekiel 38, for reason of that Daniel 8 is most likely another take on Ezekiel 38. You have the same players at the end of Daniel 11 and in Ezekiel 38. Cush, modern day Sudan or Ethiopia, and Put, todays Libya along with reports from the north, which are Gog of Magog, the leader of Rosh, Meshech, Tubal along with Gomer, Beth-Togarmah and the east, most likely refering to Persia of Ezekiel 38, which is modern day Iran. Is Gog of Magog the little horn of Daniel 7? Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, the three horns from the ten that gets subdued?

Further thoughts on what the Daniel 8:14 could mean: "till the holy to be just or righteous" could be connected to Daniel 9:24"and to anoint the holy of holies", so 2300 days or 1150 days from the fall of Israel to the coronation of the Messiah?

Daniel 12:11:

Biblically a day begins and ends at sundown.

- Israel went into lockdown during the evening of March 25th 2020.

- Abomination of Desolation occured 1290 days later on the early morning of October 7th 2023.

- Cease fire hostage deal was approved 45 days later on the night of November 21st 2023, which was the 1335th day.

Daniel 9: 24-26:

It's a 3430 year prophecy from Exodus to the establishment of Jerusalem and the sanctuary of Israel. Along with the first ruler of Israel, to the last ruler of Israel and the eventual destruction of the holy city along with the sanctuary of Israel. Each week or sevens is referring to a 49 year period, the key is Leviticus 25:8 "Count off seven sabbath years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbath years amount to a period of forty-nine years."

- Gods command to Moses to return and build Jerusalem occured around 1386BC, first week is 1386BC-1338BC.

- King Saul reigned roughly 343 years later during the 7th week, between the 49 years of 1043BC-995BC.

- Rebuilding of modern day Israel in the times of distress happened between the 49 years of 1947-1995 during the 69th week, around 3381 years after Moses or 62 weeks, 3038 years after King Saul.

- Last week or 49 years of the 70 weeks is 1996 to 2044, 2020 was the ceasing/turning of the daily, continual or perpetual. This is the week the last ruler of Israel referred to as the anointed will be cut off along with the destruction of the sanctuary and for all visions to be fullfilled.
