Homemade yogurt in a quart jar (step 1)

Using a quart jar add your organic raw whole milk to the jar which gives you about 4 cups of milk. Take out 1/4 cup of that milk, since we will be adding 1/4 cup of existing yogurt for the culture that will help turn this into more yogurt.
Pour the milk into a heavy bottom pan.
Turn your stove on between 2-3, you may need to slightly adjust it, you want to slowly reach a temperature of 180 degrees not more than 200 and once it reaches that temperature we need to maintain that temperature for 15 to 30 minutes. Stirring often to make sure it doesn’t scold.
