A collaboration that MÆRSK continues today with the Zionist entity of ‘israel’

While we have no interest in pursuing nor enforcing a narrative of violence, we are also acutely aware of the abhorrent abuse carried out by Copenhagen police at the action against MÆRSK.

We find it of utmost importance to shed light on the inhumane methods that were deployed against sitting, unarmed civilians.

Civilians who exercised their democratic rights to disrupt a company complicit in enabling the war crimes and crimes against humanity inflicted upon the Palestinian people by the ‘israeli’ apartheid regime and its occupation forces.

In the struggle for Palestinian liberation, we are tragically familiar with the incompetent and violent behaviour by police. From our comrades in the US, UK, and France to our neighbours in Germany and right here in Denmark: We have witnessed a deeply concerning descend into police militarisation.

Chemical weapons, attack dogs, and batons en masse do not constitute skilful de-escalation. Rather, it bears witness to the lack of ability and professionalism within the police.

As you follow the videographer, you see pepper spray enforced in ways that resemble the 2011 Occupy UC Davis incident which led to the dismissal of police officer J. Pike.

You see members of the press escaping bombs of tear gas indiscriminately thrown at everyone present. Medics, caretakers, de-escalation teams, and unassuming bystanders all had to flee the site in panic to escape the clouds of chemical gas.

Side by side with protestors in white paint coveralls, civilians run screaming through the adjacent Churchill Park now covered in tear gas smoke.

As the videographer struggles with breathing, they pass the “Wounded Woman”; a commemoration statue to honour the people who helped Jews escape Nazi Germany during WWII.

Behind the sculpture, the Museum of Resistance. Now covered in gas and with people fleeing through the trees surrounding the museum, it stands as a stark reminder of MÆRSK’s collaboration with the Nazis during their genocidal regime.
