Conquering the Mount Cammerer Fire Tower Trail - A 17 Mile Solo Run Through the Smoky Mountains

Come running and hiking with me as I adventure through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in an effort to see the stunning views from the Mount Cammerer Fire Lookout Tower. You can visit Mount Cammerer as an out and back trail, making it a much shorter trip, I however chose to do it as a loop. Taking the loop trail makes more sense in my opinion for those who, like me, are working towards the Smoky Mountains 900 miler Challenge. The loop version of this hike also includes Low Gap Trail, and a bit more of the Appalachian Trail. This is a first fire tower I've made it to in the Smokies, but I look forward to exploring more.
