Chapter 1: Something Runefaust This Way Comes (1/4)

In this rom hack with an altered storyline, we have new characters to play as, including cameo characters from different games, old ones who were NPCs and villains in the original and a couple of new characters from the remake. The coins and experience points earned have been reduced, meaning you'll be needing to grind lots of times to level up and get rich. Also, the max level is 20, but it seems you'll be getting a lot of stat increases to make up for that. Well, let's see how I do in this hard mod.

Anyway, a band of mercenaries is hired by the king of Guardiana to protect the Gate of Ancients. Varios is against this, believing that his knights are enough, but Max allows our heroes to get an audience with the king to hear his request. Once the job is taken, our heroes meet up with the bad guys, who get blessed with invincibility to beat us. How will we wing? Watch the video and find out!
