Tom Marazzo Bio. + How the Freedom Convoy - Canada - Set the Standard for Opposing TYRANNY

Tom Marazzo, a former Georgian College instructor who was fired for questioning the school's vaccination policy, is now a prominent figure in the trucker protest and Freedom Movement where the Freedom Convoy ended up in Ottawa.  The "capital" city in CANADA where the "GOVERNMENT" is.
Convoy organizer Tom Marazzo said earlier he was asking for people to withdraw, but noted it was everyone‘s individual choice to make. (“We’re not the government,” he said.) Marazzo said that the grassroots movement would regroup, noting the Ottawa demonstration was “one battle in a larger war.”

Tom Marazzo Statement

1. My name is Tom Marazzo and I am 49 years old. I was born and raised in Ontario. I am a father of
two children.

2. I served for 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces including the Army as a Combat Engineering
Officer achieving the rank of Capitan.

3. I have military and academic training in the area of engineering technology and achieved a Masters
of Business Administration after I left the Canadian Armed Forces. After I left the Canadian Armed
Forces I completed an Honours Degree in Software Development. In my military career I was
trained up to the required level of training for the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, but was not promoted
to that rank due to medical limitations.

4. After graduating from my Degree in Software Development, in 2019, I worked at Georgian College,
in Barrie ON, as a partial-load college teacher in computer sciences.

5. I lost my job as a college teacher in 2021 for standing up for my rights as a free citizen of Canada
when Covid-19 mandates were being enforced. As a soldier, I understood and accepted the terms
of my “Unlimited Liability” required to join the CAF: I agreed that if ever called upon to forfeit my
life in support of Canada continuing as a nation of free people, I would do so.

6. I have always believed in and agreed to uphold the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. My concerns
about human rights in Canada became both highlighted and shattered since the pandemic started in
2019.

7. In early 2020, it became obvious that all levels of Government were implementing restrictions on
rights and freedoms that violated our charter and human rights which were based on thin and
illogical justifications. When people tried to speak up – for over 2 years – not one level of
Government would listen. None were respecting Canadians human rights.

8. I no longer recognized the country for which I was willing to lay down my life, if needed.

9. I have become an advocate for peaceful and positive change in the hopes that Canada will once
again return to the perception of Canada, I once thought I lived in, and the Canadian values of
human dignity, respect for others and Charter and human rights adherence.

10. I was invited to participate in the Protest in Ottawa, 30 Jan 2022 and I was in the City of Ottawa until
20 February 2022, for 22 days. I agreed to help in any way I could because it was the only option
that gave me hope. I lost hope in our government for the way in which they had chosen to manage
Covid-19, imposing covid-19 measures onto Canadian citizens that stripped them of their human
dignity and ability to make a living and provide for their families. I bilevel in the Canadian value of
togetherness and community and saw that the Protest in Ottawa emulated these Canadian values
and I wanted to be a part of that in the hope that coming together as a community would help to be
heard by the government.

11. I volunteered to help with logistics because I had experience with that. I was experienced in
humanitarian relief situations. I also tried to help get the message across about what the protestors
(including me) were looking to achieve – end all Federal Covid 19 mandates. That was a consistent
role we all had. It was unbelievable to me that the media and politicians kept disseminating
misinformation and disinformation about the Ottawa protests.

12. During my time in Ottawa, I worked with the other volunteers and protestors to ensure that safety
lanes and emergency lanes were open on the roads. Because trucks and protest vehicles could
arrive and depart at anytime, it was a constant process of surveillance and information gathering to
ensure that the emergency lanes were kept open. Keeping the emergency lanes open was one of
my top priorities daily.

13. I also found myself dealing extensively with the police liaison officers from both the OPS and OPP. I
was directly involved in working with the key volunteers and the legal team in negotiations with
police liaisons to support de-escalation and movements of trucks out of Rideau and Sussex, meeting
with the City Manager, and the agreement with the Mayor to move out of residential areas.

14. I acted as one of the spokesperson for protestors in Ottawa on a number of occasions including
when the police enforcement action began on February 18 and 19, 2022 where I appealed on the
protestors to withdraw for their own safety
